It is very important to consume fresh fruit and vegetables every day to stay health and in good shape. Sometimes most of us want to experiment with the food and mix some types of fruit with some other foods at the same time.

Here are some allowed combinations of fruits with other fruits:

– Avocado, peanuts, almonds, coconuts and walnuts are rich in protein, vitamins, oils and salts and it is allowed and recommended for combination. They are part of the neutral fruit group.

– Apples, mangoes, strawberries, raspberries are part of the Semi-acidic fruit group and it is good to combine them in a fruit salad for instance. They are low in acid.

– Oranges, grapes, grapefruit, lemon and kiwis are very acidic and it is recommended to combine them in juices.

– Bananas, plums, watermelon, apples, cantaloupe are part of the sweet fruit group and make perfect match in a fruit salad. They don’t have acid.
